Do you offer regular mowing?

Yes — weekly or bi-weekly mowing with edging and blow-off from $40/visit, standalone or folded into a maintenance plan. We also handle pre-emergent weed control and drip system checks.

How does the $3/sq ft xeriscape rebate work?

ABCWUA customers apply online before removing any turf, pass an initial inspection, convert to a design with 50% plant coverage at maturity and drip irrigation, mulch 3 inches deep, and submit receipts at final inspection. The credit lands on your water bill. Full walkthrough in our rebate guide.

Does artificial turf qualify for the rebate?

Generally no — the program requires living plant coverage. We'll price artificial turf and rebate-eligible xeriscape side by side so you can compare net cost.

How much does xeriscaping cost?

Most full conversions run $2.50–$6.00/sq ft depending on plant density, rock, and irrigation scope — and the rebate can cover a third to half of qualifying projects.

Do you give free estimates?

Yes — on-site walkthrough, then an itemized written quote. The written number is the number; changes only happen through change orders you approve.

When's the best time to plant in Albuquerque?

Fall is king (roots establish before heat), early spring is second. Summer installs work fine for rock, hardscape, and turf — we just schedule planting smartly.

Can you fix drainage / flooding from monsoons?

Yes — grading, swales, rock channels, and rip-rap that move water away from foundations. Often combined with a gravel or xeriscape refresh.

Do you haul away the old grass, weeds, and debris?

Always — haul-off and legal disposal at licensed facilities is included in every quote. Nothing left in your bins, nothing dumped on the mesa.

Do you work with landlords and realtors?

Constantly — make-ready cleanups, low-water rental landscapes, and pre-listing refreshes on turnaround schedules. Ask about recurring arrangements.
